STRATUP is a first of its kind Multiplayer Role Playing Business Simulation Game. The game simulates a risk-free business environment with all its nuances such as organisational politics, strategic planning, budgeting and execution for players to experiment. Players assume the role of functional heads of an organisation to virtually grow their enterprise. Players plan, negotiate for resources, resolve conflicts, strategise against competitors, collaborate with peers and take decisions in a dynamic environment to grow their business.

While playing the game, players exhibit Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Dynamic Decision Making and Goal Orientation Skills. These are tracked and measured by the game analytics engine.



STRATUP simulates a manufacturing setup. Players of 6 form teams to don the role of heads of various departments. Players decide their role within the team and familiarise themselves with the goals, objectives and decisions that they need to take.

Eliminates Free Riding: All players’ equally participate in the game.


The team arrives at their strategic blue-print after considering market insights and existing resources. The in-built workflow of the game, enables players to plan their strategy in alignment with the strategy of other departments.

Budgeting: Departments compete for budgets with their peers, simulating a real business environment


Individuals take decisions based on their original plan and competitors moves. Players need to quickly respond to uncertainty in the Macro and Micro business environment, thereby demonstrating problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills.

Skill Measurement: Evidences of various skills by the participants are tracked and measured to come up with complete profiles.


Players run the simulation for 5 gaming years. After every year, a report on the current market situation and their past performance is given for analysis. Based on the result, the teams alter their strategy to adapt to the current situation. The winning team is chosen based on balanced growth.
